Hi there

I just moved to Erlangen Germany, I wanted to know if it possible to receive the Nilesat 7 ° west signal. If it is possible can someone please tell me the needed hardware.

Most important of all: The size and quality of the dish.

For proper Nilesat 101/102 24h reception a well aligned 1.20m is needed.
Forget Atlantic Bird 4A. The first frequencies start appearing (and breaking up) on 1.80m dishes but to get all on 24h basis something around 3m are required.
Nilesat 201 and Atlantic Bird 7 are planned and nobody knows how they will perform in your area.

Receiver and LNB can be of your choice as long as you wish to stick on free content. Since the signals are weak it's recommended to choose a receiver with sensitive tuner. Be aware: The best receiver cannot substitute dish size.
