Why do you think you can get Nilesat101,102 ?

It's clearly impossible, but I'm interested to know why you think you can get these satellites. It could be a simple misprint I suppose.

Come one folks don't be so cruel. Ok it appears that we all have faced strange idea's of Americans in regards to geographical "issues", which I myself have experienced several times, but please let us welcome him aboard on this forum.

Ayadkheir in regards to your question satellites for the US are for us behind the horizon and same for you with "Europeans". But there are the one or another Sat we could perhaps share, the ones perhaps far in the west for us or in the east from you, but they would require a footprint to the US or Europe. This is not very often the case and only on C-Band some Sats cover large spots but not on the KU-Band.

Nilesat is a no go for you and even lots of parts in Europe can only get him with larger dishes since the footprint is mainly over north Africa. We only receive the out of footprint reception with a little bit of effort.

Don't take it to hard with the comments ;)

Well said claasi, we pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming forum, most fresh members are novices and often misunderstand some of the basic physical limitations of reception, so all we have to do is point them in the right direction, if you will excuse the pun. :D

Lets find out why ayadkheir thought Nilesat could be received and then we can really provide some help.
