No lock on ITV Channels?

My Satellite Setup
1) Sky+ Digi + 60cm dish standard installation
2) Original Sky Analogue installation with Amstrad 16 ch receiver and 60cm dish
My Location
UK (Bucks HP13)
Recently installed Freesat (as mentioned in separate post):
- 5 Bush Freesat SD receivers
- Mk 4 Sky Dish
- Zinnwell Octo LNB

on at least two of the receivers there is "no lock" status on ITV, ITV2, ITV2+1 channels. BBC, C4 and most other channels register solid signals at about 100%.

Is there anything peculiar to those channels, is it the box, orconnections. Not sure where to start.

Can you not swap around the receivers to confirm the LNb ports are functioning correctly.
 
Its a Bush tuner thing. Try a standard Sky box (no card required) on the cable to verify everything is up to scratch outside, then take the boxes back to the supplier.
 
There is a lousy batch of SD boxes around at the moment. Quality control seems abyssmal on these boxes.
 
Checking just now, all ITV channels now lock and 100%.

Intermittent problem possibly. Funnily enough, came across a Bush freesat with the same symptoms yesterday.

The problem persists, however only with two of the five boxes at the moment -
I have been tuning in other regional ITV channels via the "non-freesat" manual tuning option and most of those channels work fine ....
I can't quite see how problems with ITV channels can be down to the Bush SD box .... bearing in mind that all other channels are solid quality.
Perhaps I need to check all my cabling from the Octo LNB to each box??

NB. Read on _www.satelliteonline.co.uk that the ITV channels have a much narrower beam from Astra 2D than BBC, C4, etc - perhaps I need to slightly re-align my dish?

Try changing the ITV versions by using another region's postcode, you need to look at lyngsat or similar to find out which areas are on a different transponder.
 
In Buckinghamshire you are right at the centre of pretty much all of the beams from 28.2 East, so should make no difference, but it would of course be worthwhile checking alignment generally.
