I noticed the image was poor om 19.2 east and thought a scan on would sort it. In positioner no signal on the motor connection, only on the direct lnb connection. Good picture if I use tuner B but not tuner A through the diseqc motor. Motor Technomate TM-2600 M3 DiSEqC problem or lnb problem?

Well if you remove the same coax going in to the motor and put it directly in to the LNB and it starts working something is amiss with the motor.
Also try swapping the cables on the back of the box, to rule out a tuner/config issue.

Could be someting as simple as moisture getting in or a dry joint..

Is it the cable you replaced the f-plug on a fortnight ago ?

Yes the same one. OK so a trip up the ladders again tomorrow, will stick the meter on the lnb before it goes to the motor and out of the motor. Tried 2 receivers and its the same on both.

Crimp connectors require some experience to get right, plus hot water on a cold day.

Try an "F" barrel connector between the LNB coax and the one going down to the receiver, if you get good signal then somethings wrong inside the motor, it should be a straight through connection for the signals.

Also check to see if the center conductor's on the coaxes are corroded or rusty, this would cause all sorts of problems.

If you jump the motor with a double female and you have a signal, check the continuity of the motor connectors.
More than one motor has false contacts, even to start connectors the tension the cable in the turn.

Si saltas el motor con una doble hembra y tienes señal, verifica la continuidad de los conectores del motor.
Mas de un motor tiene falsos contactos, incluso arrancar conectores el tensar el cable en el giro.

There are some compete idiots messing about with satellite dish setups. I know because i am one of them. of course there was no signal through the motor, the input to the motor had pulled the cable out of the f connector. Now that happened because idiot here thought the cable was a bit untidy so put on another cable tie, forgetting I had left it like that for dish movement. :-lol

Oops :)
Glad its sorted TJ

Perfect.:Y
More than one I start the connector.
Sunbathing in the morning is good.

It's always the little things that jump up and bite you, good to hear that is was a simple fix.

TJExcalibur : Dont worry I spent an hour or two last year, when doing the installation of the OFC1200C with a good cable and 5 minutes later decided not to work for no apparent reason other than it knew that I do not curse, so it put me to the test, and it won.
