Try a different HDMI port on the television or try with a different television. Check the TV hasn't been set to analogue input for audio. Do you get sound from the TV when using other devices or the built in Freeview tuner?

Switch the TV off and back on again. That fixes my occasional no sound.

In my case it's something to do with the HDMI sound handshaking when moving from an HD channel to an ordinary SD channel or recording. I only need to switch the TV off and then back on again quick.ly once to sort it out.

But, hey, whatever works!

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!

I occasionally have that problem with the handshaking between the LG TV and the DRW895 SKY+ box - the same solution works!
