I recently bought an itvd prepaid package for just under £200, this package came with the Nokia box. The box failed to read the smartcard so itvd replaced this unit with an Phillips one which is working fine. Should I keep the Phillips or ask itvd for a nokia. Also as this is a pre pay package do I own the box

Thanks

Tony,

I have a nokia box approx 1year old, used to lock up a lot, now only locks up occasionally but is slow to react to commands. Whats the speed like on the philips ?
The box is only yours whilst you maintain a subscription, in your case the pre paid subcscription is for a year after which they can and most likely will ask for the box back. Hopefully they may well offer you a subscription at a reduced rate once your year is up.

Maybe its just me that demands instantaneous action.

Just spoke to customer services, they say the Nokia is a good all rounder and the Phillips boxes do not work to well if they are to close to a transmitor, all in all they both would be around £280 to replace if damaged or lost/stolen
