So it would be quite a hill indeed. About 1100 meter higher than the Mount Everest.....

Very low C band frequencies may be accessible owing to the amvionic effect and double refraction (S-band signals have been amplified by this), but only when there are ice particles in the upper atmosphere at neap tide.

I've not heard of this at latitudes below 68 degrees.

In many if not most fields a theory gives possibility but practice proves wrong, however what I've learned in these 35 years of our business/hobby is that here practice many times proves something what theory teaches impossible.
I am not claiming that Rayo77 will/would be able to get signal from this position however until he tries himself on the spot, nobody can claim it is impossible.
I remember many years ago reports from Italy where (P. Grandicelli?) was receiving Measat @ 91.5E. In theory also impossible.

What are you actually trying to receive that isnt online? Or is this just a 'Because I can' thing

for exapmel in tel aviv 32 and 34 az and el we got 43.5w low elevation 3 deg very to earth but i try to get 0 elevation lot noise for earth it look impossible

It is possible. Not sure if it was by Grandicelli, but someone got some C band transponder from the satellite at 100.5E in Gargano (Puglia region), extreme south east of Italy.
 
Yes, I don't know when a person would claim that it is "in theory impossible", when a satellite is still above the horizon, or just a little bit under the horizon (with refraction effect).

At least it should then be cleared-up, according to which theory it would be impossible.

For the rest: I believe theory and practice are good friends, together; not opposing enemies! When they seem to be opposing, it is a sign that we don't understand the matter well enough...

That's what I am saying/witing ... could well be the same with 91W for Casablanca. It's up to Rayo77 to prove the theory right or wrong.
 
A hell of a ladder.

It is technically possible to receive a satellite that is normally below horizon, *if* it's in inclined orbit. At the peak of the inclination, the satellite may peek over the hill to become visible... but this is not the case of 91W.
It is possible to receive a satellite that may be a few degrees below the horizon, but only it's global beam, I had a friend in Chile at a radio astronomy site, at times when he got board he would swing the big dish to one of the US satellites and watch TV, he had a providers satellite receiver, had no problems with the wide area beams, but the spot beams were out of reach, not enough back scatter.
