NSS 8 was supposed to be going to 57E, but was destroyed at launch in January 2007 when the Sea Launch rocket blew up on the launch pad..... It was designed with multiple beams pointing in various directions, but the info is now only for historic interest

Heres a short Youtube clip of the launch accident... (Nobody was hurt in the accident - the launch pad area is evacuated before launch just in case anything goes wrong.

Seal Launch uses what is basically a modified oil rig for their launches. Amazingly the pad suffered relatively little damage - the rocket thrust deflector ramps were blown off, but when the engineers went on board a few hours later the lights were still on in the main hangar!)
