NSS7 22*W and ATOM receiver reception problems

Hi, My friend has problems getting Nss7 ku or cbands with his China made Atom 1400 receiver. It detected intelsat906 but didnt detect Nss7 even when our satellite finder indicated full signal strength at 22*W. my other friends are already enjoying there C band receivers facing NSS7 but this receiver thends to give this my friend problems.We are in nigeria and under the Ku and C band footprints. Pls what do we do. Should he buy another receiver or what?

Try to set the receiver to manual Tp setings and first set the 3650 mhz vertical and 27500sr then you will get it.or buy another receiver like supermax or strong
