OCTAGON SF8008 E2 4K UHD

With USB drive I did not test, but with sdcard I tested simultaneous recordings on both tuners without problems.
 
Im having problems with my diseqc switch and cant lock channels, also poor snr and agc
Strange 1 diseqc switch works fine and the other doesnt. Iv read there was a issue like this some time ago but think it got sorted.
But Everything works on my Vu+ solo se

Any ideas ??

- Add GPT usb disk support in fastboot
- Change the default bootargs in fastboot for sf8008
- So it can enter recovery even lost bootargs partition for sf8008.
- Try to fix DVB-T2/C SNR value for ATBM78XX demod.
- Disable the VFD display when go to deepstandy.

Recommended usb with high transfer rate.
If you use a bad one, record at 6Mbs second, as we want to record an HD event (high bitrate), like the Asika kika HD channel at 19'2ºE that can have 14Mbs. second for example.
I do not have this receiver, but in others something similar happens.

No tengo este receptor, pero en otros pasa algo similar.

Thank you. I've had 4 of these crashes this week, as has my friend. We recently discovered that its not limited to recording, simply even viewing the Eurovision 4:2:2 feed over VLC (from Openwebif) has caused the box to hang.

I have attached my crash logs.

It's a plugin available on OpenATV for all MIS capable receivers, I don't understand why it is led to believe that it's SF8008 specific....
 
General question about E2 and receiver with antennas as this Octagon.

Is it possibile, using tha LAN, to activate the wifi on the decoder as an HOTSPOT?

MIS/PLS LCN Scan Plugin SF8008 not only for OE Alliance based images ,it's available on 8 panel too and works well on OPEN8EIGHT6.x IMAGE wich it's PLi based .

- improve the function that get PTS from decoder. the right PTS using for timeshift and PVR playback
- change frontpanel driver for led and 4x7led according to the new setup menu of display
- add new frontpanel controls need new e2 updates

Hi I would like some help in restoring my Softcam plugin because I did a normal daily update and the plugin (where to switch the Softcam on/off
disappeared. I tried a new install but I could see no plugin. I am using Open atv Image.
 
Has there been a 'daily update' for this model lately ?

The Octagon website has all other receivers in the support section, but not the SF8008 (in any tuner version).
