Anyone got something funny to say at the moment? Been a bad day here, rain and cold, which I ain´t used to.
Did fit a Laminas 1.2 with Goobay quad and got all UK spots including ITV HD , Famaval days are numbered!
 
Not funny but could be interesting. I'm off to our radio club's biannual Junk Sale, sorry Preloved Sale. Could be nothing, could come back with another radio.

Wife is accompanying me to make sure I don't go berserk and buy everything...
 
I'll be careful where I park the car this evening. When I was out to our last evening two weeks ago I parked on some grass that turned to mud in rain. When I tried to leave the wheels just dug two deep holes and I had to get a tow out from a mate.

All in the pouring rain.

Oh how we laughed...

I've never had a Tow-out: Can you recommend it?
 
Funnily enough, had to tow SWMBO's Saxo to the menders yesterday when something sheared while nudging up a curb resulting in no drive - about 5 miles. Managed to snap the tow rope along the way.....not sure if we overloaded it or if it had degraded over time. It's polypropylene and about 20 years old

I´m sure that shearing while nudging up is illegal in Wales and other sheep infested parts:p

It distacts the sheep while shearing otherwise you have a real struggle to keep hold of them...... So I'm told
 
Just endured Emmerdale on the +1 ITV. Normally it´s on as senior management loves it.
On this occasion, due to a complete null on the forum, I actually watched and listened to some of it.
It´s actually true to real life! The vet is sh****ging the school teacher, while his wife turns up at the same hotel to announce they are going to adopt a new child. Various people are being killed off, and the local vicar´s ex wife, who he now sleeping with again is, or was , pregnant. And someone else´s mum is getting out of prison soon, for a crime she did not commit, but nobody believed her. WOW
I´ll have to watch that again!
 
Back to Emmerdale, I´m afraid, Just saw the local vicar, Ashley, crying in the chapel, reminded me of this.......

 
Senior Management has gone out for a " Burns Supper " tonight, I know it´s a bit late but our very hospitable friends from Scotland didn´t arrive until early this week, so arranged it for tonight. I would have gone, but I dislike some of the other company attending, thank the good lord for giving me the bad cold!
Been feed hunting instead, Liverpool game on 10e is the best I can find at the moment, and as it´s half time have switched to the din v csk " friendly " from Moscow at the moment.
Not really that in to football, prefer rugby and golf. Have been watching most of the European Tour events on 12.5 W of late, but have been unable to find any of the US PGA on KU band.
Is there any, or is it time to set up a C band system with the new Laminas 1.8 ( once I get the stand made ) ?

Both wrong,
been around a long time, and some are quite rough!

Then again, a diamond in the rough is still a diamond!
