OK, i'll show you mine!!

This is what i ended up with after the first installation this weekend. Some of it was already in place (the Sky dish on the right) but the other 60cm dish on the left is all my own work!

Quite pleased with the signal level and quality so i won't be juggling with that anymore. Had to change the LNB holders around as the one i had bought for the new LNB on the left dish wouldn't fit it - but the Sky dish LNB holder did. So they were swapped around and the Sky dish LNB is now in it's holder held together with a piece of wire coat-hanger until a new holder specifically for a Thomson LNB arrives!!

Just got to tack the cable to the wall and i'm done here. Thanks again to all those who chipped in and helped out on BH Monday.

The piece of coat-hanger to hold the LNB in place was inspired by your goodself!! If you can get away with mounting a dish on a fence-post, i thought i could get away with a bit of wire coat-hanger to hold the LNB in place!!

Fence posts work great - I just use the standard standoff aerial brackets

they are narrow enough to bolt onto a standard 2" post and being at garden level are easy enough to maintain and adjust if the post loosens up in a heavy gale. (Fixed with a couple of taps from a sledge hammer!)

I just wire snipped about 4 inches from the longest part of the hanger, inserted it where the screw should be, bent the wire upwards and bought i down over the gap. Two further snips to cut off the excess and it was job done!!
