Omnikey Cardman 1021 Help please. Desperate.

hi there,

I have purchased a omnikey card man 1021 usb smart card reader/writer. I tried to use it with NagraEdit 5.2 but it wont even open the com port. I have tried all com ports (1-8) in the software and have gone to device manager to try and change the com port but that option was not avaliable. Is there anyone who can help me?

perhaps giving some more detail of why you have purchased the cardman 1021 unit along with what you are attempting to do with it and NagraEdit 5.2 would give people a clue as to how to respond

I purchased the Cardman becuase it can read all types of cards and it was cheap. I am just trying to read a normal smart card used in payphones in New Zealand. I used the cardman diagnostics program. The card reader works and this is the ATR i get:

3B 04 05 D4 EC 00
