Only have BBC news help!

HI,

I am new here and a bit lost.

I have just activated my Sky. I am now only can watch BBC NEWS CNN and only a few channel. I'm live in a flat and use the sat line in my flat .
Am I doing something wrong ?

Please explain in more detail your problem, what system you have, what subscription you have etc.....

i just use the normal sky box. and i do't have any subscription because i buy the pay once watch forever packge. i just move into the new flat and use the cable the landlord give. there is only one dish in the whole house. i think the signal maybe not directly form the dish may after a amplifire or something. sometimes the box show that "no signal" sometime i can receive BBC News Sky News and CNN. Because i did'n have subscription i think i can't watch Sky3 but i can watch it. And i can't watch the normal free channel BBC ONE TWO ITV it show that "No Satellite Signal"
 
What model digibox do you have? Is it a Grundig by any chance?

Also if it's a communal dish, it would be advisable to ask others connected if they have any problems or not.
