Using RHCP, I can see 3946.5 & 4194 (MM1R) but nothing lockable (RH only)
1.8m PF, 5150LO (reference locked)

From my location here 17K North of the City of Nottingham UK, both beacons 4194.0 V & 3946.5 H still present - both polarity's scanned on my 2.2mtr PF which is undersized for this satellite - nothing new found.

This is not too strong with me in Central UK on my 2.2m PF and needs about an extra 2.5dB to lock - any C-bander's in the UK managing to get a lock ?.

Ok, thanks C, i think that little footprint spur from the main footprint is just a little bit too weak for us in the UK at the moment

To be honest John, that was on my circular LNB arrangement, I need to try my linear LNB on it.

I do not have the Green Lad on 38E at the moment, it is strapped up for Ku-Band. As soon as I switch it over to C-Band I will have a look.

The new footprint map does not seem to indicate stronger signal levels in the UK compared to the older map. The foorprint has changed only slightly via the addition of a narrowish European corridoor that was not present previously if I recall correctly?

Thanks MB, as you say the levels given on the beam spur footprint look as if intended for 5mtr plus headend stations... ?

Is that 3900H still active (Flysat lists it as 3898R, circular?) Getting 0 here. Only lock here is 3717V, 3m, outside footprint.

What about ku-band? SF8008 supreme blindscan finds one TP 11104V 3214 here. But it's only 1.4db

Unfotunately, 3900 H is gone now (Updated on lyngsat).

There is no TP active on Paksat MM1 currently.

PakSat is no longer a satellite out of reach for small antennas, given the results I’ve now achieved, which gives me hope that, little by little, better reception conditions will be achieved even for small antennas, such as mine.
These few muxes that I’ve managed to pick up and lock onto from this satellite encourage me to hope that, under different weather and physical conditions, I’ll achieve better results.
I also tried using the neumoDVB app on Ubuntu 24.04 with the 6909x card and achieved the same promising results.

Just in case it wasn't apparent by now, The old Paksat-1R (launched in 2011) was raised to graveyard orbit a few weeks ago.
PakSat-MM1 remains at 38.2°E for the time being.
