Panasonic DSB30 with Other Digital decoder

Hi

I have a question about Panasonic DSB30 togther with other digital decoder. I have to day an Force 1199S with one Harddisk and now if i would like to connect an Panasonic DSB30 to that via the passthru connector would it be possible to use the recorder function in the Force box for the Sky box.

My Satellite Setup

I don't think so, as far as i know it can only record its own programmes.

OK, if i connect an DVD Recorder with harddisk from Philips with Guide Plus+ will i then be able to record with EPG??

To use a HD or DVD recorder ay its best, you would have to feed the digital programme signal, after extracting it from the multiplexed stream and possibly decrypting it, to the recorder.
None of the Sky Digiboxes have a digital output, but I would be interested to find out if any 'normal' receivers can do this.
That's assuming the separate recorders have the corresponding digital input...
