My remote has ceased to function after running the updates / firmware.
I have tried re-running these and still no joy.

Looked thru forum and all i can see are "send it back" type replies. this isnt an option for me.

Batteries are charged etc (flashes on various keypresses) but no response show on screen.

Any ideas??

The Passion remote control is very sensitive to small drops in battery voltage. Whilst checking the cell voltages 'out of circuit' might show a good reading, working voltage might drop down below that necessary to power the IR transmitter. THe LED may well still illuminate.

I've had this problem after reasonable use of the remote. Change the batteries for decent ones, no Far East rubbish.

Thanks Llew

My remote had the original batteries in it (at least 18 months old) and it worked ok on my TV but became very unreliable on the Passion+. Put new Duracells in and it now works fine.
