Hi all,

This is my first post on the forum so please excuse my lack of understanding.
I'm trying to find out if it's possible to pay for things like sports coverage (Sky Sports 1/2/3, PremPlus etc) whilst only using on a 'free to view' Sky card.

I only want to watch free to view channels normally but wondered if I could order the sports channels separately as and when there's a game on I wanted to watch? Is there any way at all, without signing up to a full time packaged contract?
Any help or pointers to help gratefully received.

Cheers, D.

Not that I am aware of. I have the basic family package and I do not think I can do that so I would have thought you would stand little chance. No doubt someone will correct me if I am wrong, they usually do :-DOH!

The best route for the original poster is perhaps to go the route of an ART sports card and a separate receiver. :) Then he only pays £120 per year for his football, there is of course a small initial outlay for the receiver and dish. :)

Thanks mate, I wasn't aware of other broadcasters that could be picked up in this country... Guess I have a lot to learn on Satellite reception... Looking into some new kit...
