My Satellite Setup
80cm motorised with quad LNB, static 28.2E with quad LNB, VU+ Duo, DM500S, DM500S, DM800HD, Openbox S9.
My Location
Manchester
Hey,

I am currently in Manchester and would like to pick up 26E with a new motor.

Would this be possible? Looking at reviews people have had mixed fortunes even closer to the strong areas themselves but others have picked it up in the UK.

If the dish is big enough Yes. 1m minimum. Depends on which channels you are after too, i.e which transponders.
 
Yes, 1m minimum: This isn't so much because of gain/signal strength but to get a narrow enough beamwidth to stand a chance of rejecting swamping from either 28E or 23.5E.
 
Ilive in manchester have 1m dish and motor. pick up 26 e no prob. this time of year some prob. in winter though
