please advise with set up.

hi people
hope its in the right section.
guys heres what i have and need some help setting it up.
2 sky boxes
motor dish.
cctv
t180 splitter spc4
6 magic eyes.
i want to connect the kit to beam around the house can someone please tell me what the best possible way is?

The first thing is that the T180 splitter only splits the signal coming out of the RF2 output of the $ly box - it isn't for splitting a single feed from the dish for two $ly boxes if that's what you're trying to do.

The T180 goes on to the RF2 out socket of one of your $ly boxes. You then run a feed from each of the T180 outputs to the rooms around the house. You plug the magic eye between the lead and the TV so that you can take your $ly remote into whichever room you want to control the $ly box downstairs.

If you put the ordinary TV aerial lead to the RF in socket on the $ly box then this will also be distributed around the house so all the other TVs can get ordinary terrestrial TV as well. The RF1 output then goes to the normal TV aerial input of the TV that the $ly box is connected to.

As far as I know you can't run Two $ly boxes on the same circuit as you wouldn't know which one to control.

You could connect one of them using UHF output 1 so it doesn't receive the remote eye command although that does mean you couldn't change channel remotely unless you don't mind using an RF remote extender that is A, placed somewhere in the remote room that doesn't get seen by the magic eye and B, has the digibox end shielded from the second Skybox. It's messy and bound to lead to a domestic at some point

What outputs are on the CCTV, and reciever for your motorised ? Probably a couple of RF modulators would allow you to put those onto the system as well, if you wanted remote control of those from other locations a couple of Global IR blasters would work with your existing magic eyes.

hi rick i have rf modulator for the cctv which i think is connected to tv ariel. i don't have a receiver for my dish yet looking at vu duo or dream box 7020hd (db to much money) however i only have single feed from motor dish so trying to find out about a twin lnb or two receivers possibly.
any ideas,

You could put a twin LNB on your motorised, or if you have a spare output on your sky dish you could use that for your second tuner, many people find that having a fixed feed on 28e for the second tuner is very useful.
