Sorry if i am being very thick but its puzzling me so i wish to ask a few noob questions..........
ok with a motorized system what actually tells the motors/acuators where to move ?
Is there and extra control box required to move the dish or is this all done via the signal cable ?
The reason i ask is that i have a 2.4m dish here in cyprus, and currently have a sly box......... that i am less than happy with.
I fancy switching over to a aftermarket satellite receiver with a PVR function, many say that can install with an additional smaller dish at fixed locations to provide all i need, but i wondered if i could undertake the very same by motorizing my dish with acuators and a decent PVR, say a dreambox for example....
so any info greatly received and if i am asking question raised before sorry, i cant seem to find this answer with the search function
