Merry Christmas to one and all.

Hopefully, posting this in the right section.

I have a fixed dish and over the past month or so I have reception problems with these channels on 10976 - have they moved or is it likely to be weather related?

Thanks for any help.

My Satellite Setup
Dishes: Fixed 135 cm with 2 LNB (28.2 E + 19.2 E)
Fixed 60 cm (5 W)
Motorized 120 cm
LNB: Inverto Black Ultra and others
Receivers: TBoston 4500, M3 Conax Illusion Sat, Technisat PC Skystar and others

Andalusia (Spain)
It's 10796 (not 10976) V 27.500 5/6

FEC changed in August. Old 3/4. New 5/6.

Set FEC Auto or 5/6 and search.

I double and triple checked and still posted it wrong.

Thanks for the correction!

Thanks. I did have the correct frequency but just wrote it down incorrectly. I have a Topfield 6000PVR but unless I am missing something it only appears to give you the option of resetting frequency, symbol rate and polarization?

Most receivers deal with FEC automatically.

But if it adamantly refuses to work, try creating a "User Channel" whereby you specify all the PIDs ............... If your Receiver allows such a function.

Installation > Kanalsuchlauf > Eutelsat Hot Bird > 10796 27500 V ----> What is the measure of quality signal ?

If quality is ok, what do you get when you launch a manual search on 10796 27500 V ?

After I last posted I did a search and it found nothing under 10796. The earliest vertical I can find anything under appears to be 10949 although horizontal I can pick up is 10723. Not sure what the interpretation of this should be?

It might conceivably be an "end of the band" tail-off of LNB performance - although if the skew is adjusted correctly (is it?) I would expect H and V to behave the same.

Also, I can't see any mention of your location, so don't know if you are well within the footprint or on the fringes.

Nor do we have details of your dish size etc.
