On 1 July, it was activated, which was extinguished from the previous year. 130 on the Eutelsat Hot Bird 13C satellite (13 ° E). It was previously used by the British branch of GlobeCast. This gives the operator a total of about 428.91 Mbit / s bit rate (net, not counting the error correction) with the currently used parameters, the next one will make Cyfrowy Polsat have almost 0.5 Gbit / s of bandwidth on the satellite (~ 490.8 Mbit / s).
Launching the eighth transponder at the 13 ° E position would make Cyfrowy Polsat equal in this respect with the nc + platform.
For now, as part of the tests, 5 websites are submitted, initially they were without names, but they had language paths entered, including Polish, but also, for example, Zulu, and as we remember from tests tp. The operator conducted such witty experiments. Approx. at 20:00, the names of the services appeared and everything became clear
