power search mode

what's this function : power serch mode ?

Basically its the blind search mode - set it off and let it run

Not quite a blind scan in the Fortec Passion, unlike Power Scan in some other Fortec boxes.

It'll only scan transponders in the Passion's data base. It can do a search when the box unattended and in standby.

Correctly set up, it'll scan your satellites while you are tucked up in bed if you use a Diseqc motorised dish.

I have had a Passion+ box for about 8 months now everything works great, but I’ve never been able to get the power search mode to work. I switch it on, set which satellites I want it to scan, press save, then when I press standby nothing happens it doesn’t matter how long I leave it on standby for nothing happens. When I switch the box back on from standby and go back into the menu power search mode goes back to off. I have the latest software and Loader I think
My system is:
Passion+
Loader Version V1.5.0
Software Version V1.2.6
Software Date 03/DEC/2009
I’m using Diseq 1.2
I was wodering if any one has any ideas thanks
