What sort of advice do you need?

i needs assitence from start to finish first stage i digget hole for tripod to set
i put about 20 cm of concrete with 3 long bolt ready for tripod to fix
tripod have to be dead vertical

I'd use alot more than 20cm of concrete. Depending on how large your base is going to be, 150mm should be sufficient, assuming that your base will be around 800mm2. If you go for a smaller base make the concrete deeper proportionally. I'd also set some m10 threaded bar into the concrete to attach the tripod to. If you get your shuttering level, your tripod will be plumb.

I have attached the foundation specs for the 1.2m and 2.4m Precision dishes. The 1.2m dish recommends a concrete depth of 275mm. However, this is for permanent serious installations and provided your site is sheltered, I would agree with Rick's advice about a depth of 150mm. You are going to need more than a few wheelbarrows of concrete!

You may consider having individual concrete pads for each leg, say a 400mm square pad but increase the concrete depth in the soil to 500mm for stability. Use a straight edge and a spirit level to check your shuttering is level before you pour the concrete.

When the concrete has set after a week or so, sit the tripod on top of the foundation. Mark out holes for for the tripod, remove tripod and then drill out the holes for some studding. (You will probably have to hire a suitable impact drill for this). Make sure these holes are vertical! Fix the studding in with some 2 part epoxy resin. Check the plumb of the tube with a sprit level on all sides and if you didn't manage to get your concrete level, put some stainless steel packing plates under the feet.

You said you wanted to motorise it, but, from the picture it looks like you have the original Precision elevation over azimuth mount, which will not be straight forward to motorise like a typical home user polar mount.

20cm (8 inches) is more than 150mm (6 inches), what am I missing here?

I would say a depth of 8 inches (20cm) and a square of 4 feet (1.25 metres) would be plenty. That gives you mass of around 750 kilos depending on the mix ratio. Line the hole with plastic (I use decorator's dust sheet) which will stop the ground sucking the water out of the freshly poured concrete, allowing it to dry naturally. I'd go for at least M14 studding and make sure it is stainless steel so it doesn't rot. If you are not going to use a proper frame to anchor the studding get some 2" x 2" angle iron and drill a hole in that and bolt your studding to it. Obviously the studding goes in before the concrete (no point doing a retro fit). Use masking tape around the studding above the concrete level to keep the studding in perfect condition. And if you are still worried that the base is not strong enough you could put some rebar in it.

First question
Do you have the feed and feed arms ?
Second question
Are they for C or Ku band operation ?

yes i got feeds horn and feed arms and quad invicom c120
they for ku band only for now
dish come with original feed horn Precision

other question if this dish 2.2m prime focus how much need to be of ground and i far from fence 2.70 and tripod is 1.20 m

It depends how high the fence is and what direction the fence is in.

Best case is that the dish would be OK on your 1.2m tripod, if the fence runs east to west and is 1.5m high.

Worst case, if say the fence was 1.5m high and when looking at it you were facing a satellite near the end of the arc, say 51e, the mount would need to be approx 2m high, with the bottom of the dish about 1m from the ground.

Easiest way to get a better idea is to survey using an inclinometer and compass.

my fence is front of dish is about1.80 just i am woried about h signal

where i can get 4,5 inch daimeter and 3metres long i phoned the guy from satellite -------store i thinkis well over price for tripod for 2.4m

Go to a steel supplier, you can sink a pole in the ground with concrete. I have use Parker steel, but they are not cheap, but a damn sight cheaper than sat *****store

i was thinking the same as for anything like 26e or 7west your going to need larger in your area

i am after nilesat now i am getting all vertical channel about 78 signal but my problem is horizontal signal i think my fence blocking signal
today i moved dish to amos h signal was only 52 with my old irte 1.5 signal was getting 65
for that i want to left dish by other 60 cm
with that give more clearance over fence and dish will be 112 cm from the ground insted of 52 cm now [

You wont get Nilesat H from ther you're wasting your time, especially since the launch of Nilesat 201. We dont know what size dish is need in the uK for that yet, but 2.2m most likely won't be big enough in Leeds

i wait till thursday my mate is coming down to see i let u know
