My Satellite Setup

Just purchased a Dragon cam which was pre-loaded with Predator 3.53.

I'm planing to use my infinity usb unlimited to update the loader card (16F84(A)) as required.

Do I wipe the loader and use a Predasaur file for the up dates? as I can't see how I can program Predator files with my usb?

Predasaur files are only for T-Rex supermodules v 4.5 and 4.6, and if you have a 4.5 you should return it to be upgraded to the 4.6 version.
If you have the new T-Rex supermodule 4.6 you can use both files, but first load the latest Predasaur, i think it's 2.4, and activate PW, read the read me and how to files in the folder.
If you have any other version of the Dragon T-Rex cam just use the latest modified Predator file that best suits your needs.

hi,simple way to load the dragon card is open the infintity unlimited software,click ext.EEprom [middle box] to load the dra. file,infinity has it's own dragon software so you only need the dra. file,click write,choose reverse span,3 minutes later it should be completed.
then load the card into the dragon cam and place in receivers cam slot and choose dragon load.

I have just returned the Cam as the sim card part had a read fault.
The cam was a Trex twin module firecrypt REW 4.1 preloaded with Predator 3.52.
When I get the cam back I’ll load the latest modified Predator file.

Hi Benitot
I’m using a dragon loader card PIC F84a, so only get a pic file load option, a .dra file won’t load …can you offer any advice on what should I be looking for?

Hi Rock39,
there are 2 ways to program the PIC F84A loader card with your programmer, the easiest is by using the Infinity software. If you have the latest drivers downloaded, open your programmer and choose DragonloaderCard (PIC), leave the built in loader and just load Predator354.dra into Ext EEprom, choose option 2 reverse span and click write.
When your card is loaded be sure to follow the instructions for loading your Cam, otherwisee you could damage your Cams bootloader.
1. Tune your receiver to a FTA station, like BBC World on Astra 1 19.2E.
2. Turn off your receiver.
3. Insert your Loader card into your Cam, chip face up, if your Cam isn't already in your receiver, insert your Cam into the receiver.
4. Switch on your receiver and navigate to the Dragon Cam. You should see it in Dragon Load mode, choose yes to load module.
5. When loading is complete, you will see a message Loading is successful please remove your card. Remove the Card and switch off the receiver.
6. Switch on your receiver and your Cam should now be updated.
