I believe that the English premier league will be broadcast on the Showtime Arabia network from 07 onwards,will I be able to recieve this on a Technomate 1500 TMS ci+ (1 metre dish) Thanks in advance of your advice/comments,The Soulman.

No chance - you are looking at a dish size of well over 2m in Lancashire

FYI 1m isnt even sufficient on the south coast down near Brighton!

Will I be able to receive any premiership football after the end of this season with the aforementioned set-up/equipment.

No idea at the moment. DigiAlb 16E may be a possibilit if they still have coverage.

So the main difficulty/barrier to being able to receive Showtime Arabia is the dish size required????

Yes - the beam is centred on the Mediterranean area, and drops off in strength fast as you go north and westwards.

Size matters ............. more so now than it ever did.

there will be european sat providers which will get rights but will be more expensive as art cards were a bargain really so it wasn't going to last forever

digitalb should get the rights next season but no guarantees on that

the 1metre dish will be more than enough for a signal on 16east
