This is one film I would like to see on the large screen

I hope it brings back the feel of the original two.

If it's like any other remake made in the past decade, I doubt it...

I saw the trailer before the Avengers last night, and it looks astonishing on the big screen compared to watching snippets of trailers on a PC.

This is a definite for me and in the IMAX if its on, Only Ridley could do justice to a prequel to alien

There was a preview taking up a whole advert break last week. It looks visually stunning but I got this huge feeling of déja vu as it was showing. It's probably me though as Ridley Scott has a better imagination than I!

Also looking forward to this, hopefully get out to see it one afternoon when the kids aren't on holiday.

For those that have moved beyond dialup

And our local cinema has (just ) announced that it it is closed for refurbishment for at least five weeks starting next week. Whilst it is only a 2D place, and rather small, it had the advantage of less chance of being fully booked all the time, and you could always belt the annoying yoof with mobile phone/crisps without the ushers/patrons taking offence.

I'll do my damndest to see this one at the Cinerma..
2 requirements though ..
It ain't in 3D ..
Firstly because less attention is paid to the story to accomodate OOohs and Ahhhhs..
Plus my defective left eye prevents me seeing 3D.
Secondly ..it has to be a Early screening with a virtually empty cinema ...or the slightest hint of a virus in the crowd ..and I'll automatically get it..due to these immunosuppressant drugs I'm on.
I'd like to go ..as it is often months before its out on Bluray.

I know that one well CH ..

I once went to see a movie ...and spent the first 20 minutes of the film unable to enjoy the dialogue distracted by giggling raucus kids 3 rows down ..
In the end I lost my rag and much to the embarrassment of my girlfriend at the time ..stood up and screamed 'Shut the **** up or feel my wrath' ..
I expected to be ejected from the cinema immediately ...but instead received a round of applause from the other patrons.
