Pros and cons of encryption type

Hi,

What are the pros and cons of the various encryptions i.e NDS, Nagra,Viaccess,crypto etc.

An on the K... type what is ment by slot 58, 61, 45... etc

This is a hobby forum and thus I doubt anyone will have the time or knowledge to be able to fully answer that question. Why would you want to know anyhow? Or are you really asking which is the most secure? in which case NDS and Viaccess 2.6
