I want to see purchase a dreambox 500s but not sure where to get one from. I see that you cant buy originals anymore and there are plenty of clones around.

Are these clones worth getting? Any drawbacks with them?

You pays your money and takes your chance with clone 500's. Some of them are fine and some of them are terrible. We have had regular reports of folk having nothing but problems with them - some of the poorer ones wont drive a motor for example due to low quality power supplies in them.

Other folks dont have any problems with theirs.

All the clones that i have bought have been working perfect, no problems at all. And i have bought a lot of them over 15. Well all the clones i have bought have been DM-518s which are a new clone model and i have bought about 5 DM-500s which have been working perfectly.
