According to a post over on the DS forum Quest & Quest Red will be joining Freesat in the near future as the channel names have been added to the FS network table

Quest 167
Quest Red 169

Presumably the gaps means the relevant +1's will be joining at some point too.
 
What sort of stuff does Quest broadcast?
 
Its part of the Discovery stable, so cast offs from them.

Quest Red is the "female skewed" channel. Whatever that may mean
 
I did guess as much when Quest moved to Astra 2E UK beam 2 weeks ago :)
 
@Lazarus Both Quest & Quest Red are now fta so you can have a looky yourself. (Not the +1s they are still scrambled)

Both on 11426V
 
I might do just that, as I'm in bed resting a minor gout attack (Takes up to three years for the pills to get rid of all the built up crystals!)
 
Sadly it is. Not as bad as the full-monty attacks I used to get, but I'm yaffling Naproxen (Double strength Feminax!) as often as I dare.

FS is just shorthand for FreeSat

The network table is data stream which describes which channel SIDs are mapped to which epg. The boxes read it and assign epg numbers appropriately.

If you have the right hardware & skills you can read the stream.
 
Both the timeshifts are now fta as well - presumably all 4 channels will join Freesat at the same time now.

so is that the reason standard fta boxes cannot display a 8 day epg?
