Question about the Inverto Multiconnect multi lnb bracket

Planning to use 4 quattro lnbs on this bracket.

Do I really need to buy the extension kit? It is almost as much as the basic kit.

Opinions please.
 
The sytem itself is more expesive than alternatives anyway.

What dish are you going to use it on?, it won't work on your minidsh.

What satellites are you intending to pick up?


Also, I'm confused, why do you think that this sytem has more chance of working than the Wavefrontier?, when you have line of sight problems.
 
The Inverto Multiconnect system is great when you need 3 degree spacing. Or if you think you will need it in future (no point in paying out twice).

For anything else there are cheaper alternatives that are just as good.

Wave Frontiers and the Visiosat Bigsat are better than any dish with LNBs hanging off a bracket, they are designed to accurately track part of the arc. They are excellent designs.

Yes, maybe the Wave Frontier just needs a decent mount and pole to see over the obstruction.

I am going to use a 85cm dish.

Hexah where can you buy a 40mm pole mount?

Besides the installer told me the Wave Frontier t55 dish was too small for Hotbird. He said I needed at least a 80cm.
 
And what other satellites are you after?

Durham? Not far north of me.

60cm is ample for Hotbird.
 
I would use a 90cm for those, you will of course need the Inverto Black Multiconnect Quattro LNBs.
 
And you would point it at 16e.

You might consider a 1m aluminium dish, or if weight is an issue and it is mounted on a longish pole, a 1m perforated 'mesh' dish is the lightest.

T&K brackets and a 60mm (2") pole would be solid.

You can paint all of it, mount, pole and dish if you need it to be discrete. Mesh dishes are easiest to blend in, that is why they are supplied in a dark slate grey colour.

60mm is just short of 2.4 inches, referred to as a 2.5 inch.
2 inch masting would be 51mm.

Only problem with a 90cm is that we live in rented housing and the max size dish we can have is 90cm and 90cm dishes are always bigger than 90cm.

Got a technomate 85cm dish instead.

That is the idea. Don't need t and k brackets.

hmm, you may well struggle to get a reliable signal on some tps on 16E in that case, you'll find out how well it works once installed.
 
Technomate dishes are made by or the same as ISS I believe.

A 90cm dish and a 1M dish look roughly the same size to the untrained eye when mounted on the side of a house. Easy to blag the neighbours that it is only a 90cm dish , so unless they go up a ladder with a tape measure they are none the wiser. :-thumbup
