That looks a useful type of clamp from the neewer range of products. Is it part of a tripod assembly or a standalone item?

Maybe someone can confirm if this seems likely, but I have gained my missing 2db by replacing the O Ring in my C120 LNB - I thought they were just to keep water out but perhaps keep the signal in too?

You may have removed some humidity in the feed during the dismantling.

Well the hard labour is almost done, I just have to reassemble the other Raven now it's in its new home.. then the wiring begins.. But it looks wet all weekend so doubtful we'll be done this week :(

Aye, proper good kit, not a DiSEqC motor in sight as far as eye could see ?

Thanks all!

Just one, hiding at the front on the 1.2m Gibby, Only 3 motorised dishes to be fair. Rest are fixed.

Was going to motorise the 2nd 1.2m Gibby I have but decided to just fix it on 7e instead, 3 is plenty.

Been spending a while finalising the two Ravens, I have got them as good as they'll be and have some interesting results between the RX Feed Arms model and the TX/RX heavy duty arms:

Scan of 16e on both 2 minutes apart, currently raining but OK for a comparison, showing about a 1-1.5db difference towards the TX/RX arms. Some freq comparisons are a bit higher than others which makes me wonder if I need to tweak the LNB skew a bit on one of them.

The arms themselves 'shouldn't' make a difference of course, but unless you have LNBs with identical characteristics and there are no differences in the reception a couple of metres apart, you might be looking at subtle reflector imperfections, though again there shouldn't be. Try running a metal detector across the whole surface to verify the mesh runs right to the edges.

Even assemblers at the factory can have a bad day.
