Hi Chaps.

So i will make this simple:

Info:
STB1 (E2) - has 2 sat feed connections from 28.2e - and is on my LAN.
STB2 (E2) - has NO sat feed connections, and is also on my LAN.

Question:
Is there a way to VIEW the sat signal \ over an IP stream from Box1 to Box2 - I was thinking if Box2 could read BOX1's bouquets, that would sort it, it would stream them effectively.

Thanks for your time.

Partnerbox works, on openatv images. You have to enable fallback tuner.

It's certainly possible on the Vu+ boxes I use. On there it's under Setup > Service Searching > Remote channel stream converter

You may need to give more details on your box and the image used for specific instructions.

You may also want to assign fixed IP addresses for your boxes to avoid issues after a reboot.

Also, the receiver sharing tuners, must be in standby mode. Or disabled.

One advantage, i saw with partnerbox, was it could read an official cam with subscription (Tivusat).

Another good solution could be an E2 box (STB1) and a "streaming" box (STB2) like AppleTV or, I believe, Firestick.
I completed successfully such configuration using my Dreambox DM920 and my AppleTV 4K.
Using the right app in the AppleTV, it is possible browsing the bouquets stored in the Dreambox, selecting the desired channel with the AppleTV remote control.
And obviously you can change channel every time you want.
It works with encrypted channels too (if the Dreambox provides the right CAM and/or card).
Remember that the STB1's tuner would be used by the STB2 one, so it is not available on the first box.
No experience with the firestick but I believe it would be the same.

Also, there is ChannelsImporter

THANK YOU!

This is amazing!!!! Working spot on.

I'm so glad i asked the question.

Not using VIX so haven't seen this before. What's the advantage over the other method?
Perhaps none. But it saves having to install a plugin for one
