Good afternoon,

could anyone recommend the best lnb's for hipasat 30w and 28.2e astra, i am hooking up to multiswitch system.

Thank you

Inverto Black Ultra will satisfy you, in fact it is one of the best LNBs available

Both satellites are high powered and an easy reach in London. For multiswitch, Quattro LNB's req.

I found the Invacom SNH -031 0.3dB better than the Black Ultra.

If it is that good I may well give that one a try

I have twin here if you wish to try it. Used it for 3 months until I got the Master Focus. Just pay the postage. If not does anyone want it for postage.

Another vote for Inverto Black Ultra. Changing to this LNB opened up many doors for me, now getting 26e, 7w and low power feeds at 7e/10e on my 80cm.

For those two satellite from London, pretty much any quattro will do, particularly as the original poster is using quite large dishes, a couple of Inverto Black Ultra quattro LNBs on 70cm dishes would suffice, with signals coming in in the early eighties and excellent SNR.

I had a pretty bad motorised dish install to begin with. The "installer" that put the motor up supplied one of these which was completely brand new as I saw him unwrap it from the box. After seeing what a dogs dinner he did, A professional installer came round not even a week later (5 days to be precise). He took the dish down and started from scratch, in doing that he noticed that the new LNB was completely water logged. I actually saw it for myself, there was a fair amount of water droplets inside the yellow casing. I couldn't believe that the LNB had got like that after just 5 days! We did have quite a bit of rain that week but still, I thought these LNBs would be built a bit better.

He replaced it with an Inverto Black Ultra and (touch wood), this is working fine.
