receiver problem installation

i have pace ds810 hd receiver and hdtv with hdmi connection, but unfortunately cannot get signal on tv through hdmi cable, only scart. do not know where the problem is and where to look for. cable is ok, tv also. do not know how to check receiver if it is not faulty. can you, please, help?
 
anybody there with the same receiver? if so, please, let me know if yours do play ok with hdmi cable. just bought component video cable and will try it this way if it will upscale picture.
 
Have moved this to the Pace HD section.
 
Mine works fine mate. Just plugged in the HDMI cable and perfect picture, especially the HD channels... Make sure your selecting the HDMI input on your TV setup menu...
 
I have the same cable with dvd player, works fine, only receiver dont get signal. tried component cables and work ok. perfect picture. dont know what is problem.
