Advice Needed Receivers with the lowest Symbol Rate?

there are MINI versions on ebay
might not have a similar spec - maybe totally different.
Hello ,
The only difference is the processor ALI 3521 for the S3 mini II and the processor ALI 3529 for the S3 CI II.
Otherwise, everything is similar, the menu, the updates.
However, for the moment only one SR 400 has been read with the "mini".
but in your link it says: out of stock

Yes. It is blind scan. I don't use mine tho. Prefer Combo
I do not know this receiver.
Is it blind scan capable? Can it find so low symbol rates in blind scan? Thank

I have seen it scan down to 1000 on blind scan but no lower..

Anyone know what the lowest recorded SR is with the combo, either on a blind scan or a manual entry?
A manual entry might capture stuff lower than a blind scan as is the case with a Dr HD F15.

yes, it has a blindscan, but as already written it finds that from 1000 sr
it is highly sensitive to weak signals (like the GT combo)
but it has the particularity of being able to read frequencies 10490 10500 with a universal LNB,
There are very few receivers that can do this (the GT combo can't, it needs an LNB adapted for amateur radio).

The GT Combo I have here can store transponders below the 10500MHz cut off and find signals, I don't think it scan them however.

Is this the one with the Silabs tuner? Not suprising...

Is this the one with the Silabs tuner?
Can Silabs tuners receive 10497? My attempts to modify driver binary (sf4008, sf8008, gbtrio) with HxD editor to remove 950 Mhz limit has been unsuccesful.

Edision os Mio I have 10492H 1500 working and also removed 1000 symbolrate limit. It still can't receive transponders very close to each other, but alone transponder with SR 500 is working.

Also success with Vu+ Uno 4K, 10492H 1500 promo channel working here. Edited driver binary.

Someone on the BATC forum was working on making the SF8008 more suitable for QO100 reception as part of research into a replacement for the Minitiouner, some progress was made however it appears more Serit NIMs (used by the Minitiouner) have been sourced so that replacement may no longer be required in the near term.

Wait, this is very interesting!!! I don't have my OSmio with me right now, as I came back to my hometown for the holidays and left it in my work city where I moved. But I would love to know how to do it, if you please!!!
Can you show us other examples with Osmio locking low SR?

OS mio case it's simple, avl6261 tuner driver source code is in gihub and been there over 2 years, why nobody has noticed?

Anyway, have already modified driver to always return signal SNR, even when tuner is not locked. With small enigma2 changes, SNR for unlocked transponders is now visible in signal finder.

Eshail 1 has never worked here and now I can see 11604H signal is usually around 1-2db.

Not tested much, only checked that 21.5E 11577H SR512 now works. I think it's because there are no other transponders near.

That's amazing! I now regret not bringing my OSmio with me for the holidays (I don't have a dish where I moved).
Returning the signal without locking has always been a big wish for all E2 Dxers!!! Please, show me how you modified E2 and the driver, and we might even try to make Silabs work together. You can even send me a PM.

Required changes are found in openvix forum, it's just few lines, but it also involves rebuilding enigma2 from source. And problem is that it's only for Edision + avl6261

I would like to see this feature also for Octagon sf8008, but similar driver source and build instructions would be needed. There is already something if google "silabs superset".

Also I'm just hobbyist and not part of any enigma2 image development team.
