Advice Needed Receivers with the lowest Symbol Rate?

yes, it has a blindscan, but as already written it finds that from 1000 sr
it is highly sensitive to weak signals (like the GT combo)
but it has the particularity of being able to read frequencies 10490 10500 with a universal LNB,
There are very few receivers that can do this (the GT combo can't, it needs an LNB adapted for amateur radio).
youre talkin about gtmedia v9 prime?
gtmedia v9 prime can get the 10490 tps at 25,5 east satellite?

hi... for that you use a modified lnb?
With the V9 Prime (original software) there's no need, it goes down to under 10700 without any problem, it's not limited, its only limit is SR 300.
The LNB Inverto black Ultra and the LNB B.E.S.T Twin also go down to 10490.

For the Ustym 4K pro you need a modified LNB (not for the V9 Prime).
thank you soo much stephan for ultra fast replies...
i have sf8008, apart modified lnb i need a special image? i have openpli 8.3
where can buy a modified lnb?
i only use lnb inverto ultra black for me are the best lnb

Here (see link) is my current status with the Mio4k.
I currently have a problem with my Dish system and will analyze what the problem is in the next few days.

Frequenzbereichserweiterung Edision Os Mio4k

Today I checked my system with the TV card, the signal in that area could be detected, for some reason it is very, very weak, really strange.

I work with several images OpenPli 9.0 ; Teamblue 7.3 , doesn't really matter
it just has to be not too old.
For a modified LNB, you need to search the Internet. That's how I found it.

I'm afraid it's a supplementary harmonic above 10700 that you're having difficulty reading (as with IQmonitor with "Expand search band" It's a repetition of the transponders found from 10700 to around 11400) if you look at the progammes on 10473 H 27500 you can check it.

So, I was now able to find the error, the first error was the combination of two satellite distributors which was quick to fix.
The second error cannot be remedied so quickly, it is the satellite cable that is installed under plaster in the house (already present when the house was bought!) which partly seems to come from GDR times, it is this black one with the simple shielding made of 4- 5soul :N
Right outside in the laundry room where the positioner control is located, I was able to read the A71A transponder with just under 13dB via BS with the Mio4k :D

Required changes are found in openvix forum, it's just few lines, but it also involves rebuilding enigma2 from source. And problem is that it's only for Edision + avl6261

I would like to see this feature also for Octagon sf8008, but similar driver source and build instructions would be needed. There is already something if google "silabs superset".

Also I'm just hobbyist and not part of any enigma2 image development team.
I found the thread on openvix, unfortunately I cannot see the attachments there. This is something that should be implemented in all major images though like OpenPLI and OpenATV, especially the signal with no lock part. It has been a closed feature of Dreamboxes for years, and it should be available to everyone.

this all sounds good, but i dont really understand what is going on here.
i have a 1.8m dish and an edision mio 4k+
let me know what i can test \ be of help
cheers

The current avl6261.ko with T2MI support has a limitation for SR lower than 1000.
The old avl6261.ko without T2MI support had no problem with SR lower than 1000.

Trust me, I was part of the SDG team which supported Edision, and their Availink tuner always had great trouble locking anything below 1000. This had nothing to do with T2-MI, these two different modifications simply occured at the same time.
And this is why I find it so interesting that a simple code change could unlock that tuner's ability to lock below 1000 so easily.

ok, attached changes I'm currently using in OpenVix image.

Driver: Return SNR also for unlocked signals. Support tuning bellow 10700. Remove SR 1000 limitation. Fix building with Ubuntu 22.04.
Enigma2: Show unlocked SNR in signal finder.

This is something that should be implemented in all major images though like OpenPLI and OpenATV, especially the signal with no lock part.
I don't think we are going to see these in "official" images, unless manufacturers update their drivers.
I'm just showing here what is possible. But you need to build image yourself.

hi... merry christmas stephan
To make the LNB work we will need to power it with a voltage of 13V to 18V?? because i have a DISEqC 1.0 a 1.2 16x1 EMP-CENTAURI + 1/1 TDT for my dishes...
thanks for your support

Signal with no lock is implemented inside the GTMedia Combo, other Android boxes out there might share the same feature.

That's so great, Osmio owners please test. I cannot wrap my head around why I don't have it available with me.

What would we need to do to use the two files kindly shared by @ocean04 ?
Is it simply a copy/paste of the contents to completely overwrite two existing files in the E2 file sytstem of a MIO?

Or do we use the "driver build with diff" uploaded by @suedschwede ?

It makes the MIO an attractive receiver if this is a simple job for a "non coder"
