fortecstar passion hd 90cm motorised dish
diablo cam,
My Location
dudley west midlands
tec 1500 art sports card 80cm mot dish
if i set satalite dish for hot 13.0e to get art sports ..then astra channels are all low signal....so i have to go up to dish and manualy change pich of dish ?
also get 82% sig on bbc 1 but no picture same with most fta channels please help
 
Where are you located (nearest big town)? Theres no point asking any questions without this vital info.

Does your dish only have one lnb on it? If so then of course you are going to have to move the dish around if you want to watch satellites in different places around the orbital arc.

Did you initially set the dish up on 1W? If not, it wont be tracking the arc properly.
 
no ...hotbird....
just spent 2 hours up a ladder trying on thor..only geting a red signal on 11.229 so had to put back on hotbird only get 52% green on that 10892 may be time to call a pro in.....pi** wet throu hammering down here lol
 
Thats your problem then. A motor installation must be set up on the south position first. Try finding 11189 V 2142 3/4 or 11325 H 24500 7/8. These are reasonably strong in much of the UK.

Hi,
How mush % of signal increase approximately to expect if replace 0.9m offcet dish with 1.2m offset? Is signal(in %) increasing proportional to antenna area increasing?
