Try to avoid the ones with slow locking spectrum analysers.
I found the low priced ones with colour LCD screens to be no more than a satellite receiver with a colur screen and poor quality specrum analyzers.
If you are locked onto a satellite, they are useful for fine tuning.
Another problem is that you cannot see the screen on a sunny day.
I still use my old Avcome spectrum analyzer for quick satellite hunting.
If you could get a 2nd hand one, you will be very pleased with it.
