My Satellite Setup
Humax HDR1100S Freesat Recorder. Octagon UHD satellite box with Gibertini 1m motorised dish. Triax TD78 for Freesat. Triax TD64 for Freesat to 3 rooms. 2 Panasonic Freeview+ HD recorders.

Hi everyone! Toying with the idea of recording from my Octagon SX88+ box. Can anyone recommend what is best to use? Personally a HDD would be the best but I'm open to ideas. Cheers!:-respekt
 
I've got a small USB stick on the back of the SF8008 and honestly I cannot fault the ease of recordings/playback/cue/review/stills, better than any DVR I've used previously.
 
Well, that's a start! I wonder what size USB stick I can put in the box for decent sized recordings?
 
I hope the SX88+ is better than the closely related Edision Primo which I have - it doesn't recognise any of my hard drives and it's pot luck whether or not FFWD/RWD works on recordings.

But my Primo recognises every HDD and USB stick I have, though!
