Replace Technomate TM-5402 HD M2 CI

My Satellite Setup
Technomate TM-5402 HD M2 CI receiver with 2 dishes
My Location
Live in Swansea, but dishes ae in Spain
I have in Spain a TM-5402 HD M2 CI from Technomate. Since it is quite old I want to replace it with a newer one
that can record programs and has a pause function. If have 2 dishes. I don't really know why 2. When I bought the house
they were there. Any suggestions ? Thanks
 
The newer TM5402 M4 will do exactly what you want. Once you have it fully upgraded using the official TM firmware you should be good to go.

If there’s nothing wrong with your M2 I’d hold onto it though. Was there anything else you needed a newer model to do.
 
What are you expecting to receive in Spain? If you want all the UK channels then you will need a large dish, the size depending whereabouts in Spain you are.

The two dishes are probably for the reception of different satellites.

I upgraded to the MK3 from the early version, it has the same operating system but is a lot faster on the blind scan.
