I’ve just bought a rover stc master and when I select the TV meter section from the plan menu it only has Europe as it’s setting. How can I get the UK selection please.

You need to upload a new settings list containing the desired channel plan.
You can download the latest channel plan provided for this field meter directly from Rover Instruments at ROVER SAT & TV INSTRUMENTS & BROADCAST, but you need to create an account (free).
Also, it is required to download and install the S.M.A.R.T. software to upload the channel plan. If you wish to edit the channel plan or access measurements to generate reports, a serial number is needed to activate the PRO functionality. This is a cost option.

I am not sure, but it might be possible that you have a Master STC model specific for a UK provider (normally Sky), which is why you have a limited channel plan. If so, you might not be able to upload a different channel plan.

il rover intelligente è gratuito basta registrarsi sul sito ufficiale dopo aver ricevuto una password via e-mail e da lì piani intelligenti e satellitari
 
the smart rover is free just register on the official website after you get a password via email and from there smart and satellite plans

Often it's just a matter of pointing a person in the right direction. It's the unknown unknowns that people need help on.
 
Hi ALL can anyone help I have a rover master stc with a white screen many thanks Robin I like to get a work shop manual as well a pdfif possible thanks again Robin
 
If the screen shows just a plain white, then I imagine one of the following faults:

1) Broken display
2) Bad flash --> firmware update failed or flash IC got corrupted/broken
3) Broken CPU
4) Broken Motherboard
5) Some shortcut preventing boot
6) Bad capacitors
7) ...

If you just bought this item on eBay and the fault was not mentioned, I would return the device ASAP.

Repairing a Rover Master STC is nor economically viable, as spare parts will cost more than what you should have paid for the device.

Either you are into reparing test equipment and have enough knowledge on how to diagnose faults and replace components like capacitors, or it will be an inglorious task.

Unless this is indeed just the consequence of a bad flash. In this case, try getting the SMART software and try flashing the latest available firmware for this exact model. If it connects, odds are good that you may fix it. If it does not connect, my guess is that the device is beyond repair.
