Hello everybody
I would need to know the data of some transponder
with regular signals (not feed) transmitted in S2X
16 apsk
32 apsk
on European satellites
85 east 45 west
reception location Northern Italy (Milan)
I have to do some tests with Televes Mosaiq 6
Laminas 180 antenna
thank you

Note that the Televés Mosaiq 6 is apparently at the moment the only field meter in the market that offers S2X capability - at least in the profissional meter segment, as it seems that there are some cheap Chinese meters that just happen to use a S2X capable tuner.

The best test-transponder for you is on 33.0E at 12598 V 10057 FEC 25/36.

This is transponder contaings Free-To-Air channels: TMX Suisse, TMC Suisse and TF1 Suisse.

Check here: Lyngsat

The coverage is quite generous and even I can receive this transponder in North Portugal with a motorized 100cm Offset dish.

I can receive this transponder without issues and using blind scan with my new Edision OS Mio+ 4K.

None of my satellite meters is able to receive this transponder, because they don't have the required S2X tuner - I tested the most promising ones anyway (Spaun Sparos 711, Promax HD Ranger 50 SE, Deviser S7200).

Please provide some review, pictures and video of your top grade field meter! How much did it cost (or does it cost, in case you got it as a sample or otherwise discounted/free).

Regrads,
Vitor

PS: I guess you are "antoniopev" at DXTV. I am known there as "vma".

grazie

si sono sempre io Anto @ = antoniopev

My mistake - did not read the 16 and 32 APSK request.

I'm not sure if all the Data transponders in S2X are up-to-date across the arc that you find on Satellites Community, but I, at least, tried to keep up to date with the latest ones.
Apart from FlySat, I don't know if there is a site that updates Data transponders in S2X anymore. At least it's a good start to know what and how S2X extension transponders are, and if you can receive them with your devices.
Even though 98% of Data transponders have regular transmission, you have to be aware that even those with S2X extension have the same lifespan. In fact, there are more transponders in S2X than listed. Many of them cannot be locked or display uncertain parameters, due to weak signal or device reasons.

many of the signals that you have indicated as S2X at 33 east are not, the test I did and do a blin scan with 6925 and I found several, consequently if the 6925 finds them they are not in 2X since this tbs is not supports them, maybe only 1 was in 2X in fact the 6522 had a locK
in the next few days we will try to do some tests
within the limit of meteorological conditions since in the last days it was snowing a lot in my part

grazie

It depends on which card you use. The TBS6925 only knows the dvb-s2 standard, and the 6522 card only reads the CCM modulation even if it has the S2x extension. Or even transponders with S2X extension are transmitted either in CCM or ACM/VCM mode. So, not all S2X cards support both modulations.
Here's what it looks like scanning with the dvb-s2 6983 cards, and one with the S2X extension at position 33.1E, which you say is not as S2X. See the difference?
No point in loading the topic with snapshots of every transponder using the s2x extension.

in fact I see that between the 2 scans there are 2 tp in favor of the one with 2X
as in my scan the 2x found 1 more than the 6925
please give me an explanation why the tp 11257 H in your 2 scans has 2 different fec values?
maybe 2 streams one in 2x and the other in S2

thank you

There are transponders that use S2 and s2x standard at the same time depending on the type of stream, whether packetized or generic. Many are actually encapsulated (multi)streams and use parameters when in S2, when in s2x. For this reason, the same transponder can be found with a dvb-s2 card, but also with a s2x card, because it is transmitted in both modes and with different parameters (fec, mode, rolloff, etc).
Here's what 11257 H looks like, and other transponders found with Crazyscan at 33.1E. Feeds are often found on these transponders, such as this 11257 H. As I said, it depends on the ability of a card to lock and display the parameters found.I found these with the 6903x card.
