hi satelites uk i have a sagem DTR94 hd freesat plus receicer and everytime i watch or want to record any HD channels my receiever turns its self off everything is ok if i watch normal sd channells id would appreciate any help

Welcome to the forum
I would suggest if this is a new purchase that you first ensure you have the auto update facility enable in case it needs a firmware update. Failing that then take back to the store you purchased from.
 
hi topper no this is just over 12 months old so quarentee ran out it only started doing this a few weeks ago ive done a factory reset but it still does it will buying gold hdmi leads help

Well I would make sure you have some decent hard drive space left then before doing anything and then scan for channel changes


Edit ah freesat.... well in in answer to your leads question I do not see how it can help, if the stb re-boots every single time then it may be an HD data processing problem if disk space is available
 
theres about 40% disk space left all the recordingd i have done r in normal sd mode is there anything i can do about this data problem?

Well I cannot think of any other issues that could cause just the HD to reboot the stb
perhaps having a good look through the dedicated forum for Sagem products would help or even posting there
as it would appear there was a software update only 6 weeks ago, and this perhaps is the cause of your problem
