Welcome to the hip hop related, but not hip hop quiz. All the answers are songs that have been sampled by hip hop tracks in the 80s & 90s - so 60s & 70s funk/disco/jazz/soul and even rock.

Some of the songs are well known, others probably less so - hopefully they aren't too difficult to work out. Two correct answers per day. Any complaints that may trigger the forum censor will be warmly welcomed :lol:

5 would seem to be "Pocket Rocket" but Ive never heard of a song called that!

Almost there... reverse the order of those two words and add a couple in the middle.

I know it's too much to expect people to hammer Discogs and then cross reference on WhoSampled. I'll come up with extra clues tomorrow :)

I didn't know there was such a thing as 'Whosampled'....I just try and work the answers out from the clues... :-rofl2 :-rofl2

Rocket in the Pocket from your help - which google suggests is Cerrone (never heard of them!)
