Meteor M2-5 is due up within the next few months - one site Ive found suggests this December, although this could easily slip into 2026.
 
Not often I get most of Greenland & the North Atlantic!

Land masses left to right
Top Greenland - Svalbard
Centre Jan Mayen - Norway
Bottom Iceland - Faroes - Scotland (latter 2 under the clouds)

Got this MSA pass from Meteor M2-4 yesterday afternoon, (nothing good yet today) the RF spectrum up there looks to much cleaner after the NOAA satellites were shut down.

Its a Bark Holiday long weekend in most of the UK (not in Scotland - we are all at work as normal on Monday - we dont get the August Bank Holiday Monday :( ) So OF COURSE most of the UK is obliterated by thick cloud on the Saturday!

I had a very nice pass on Meteor M2-4 this afternoon, looks like some rain sneaking up from Mexico.

This is the type of interfence that the trees cause on far north passes.This is one of the better ones.Unless it is upside down we are under the cloud.Bottom right.:)

On this pass of Meteor M2-4 I had to crop out some junk, I don't know why I'm getting bad passes on M2-4 when it was great a week ago.

As you can see the fog bank is being pushed off shore, this is giving me some very warm weather, it's supposed to be in the high 105 degrees F this coming week, oh well there goes my electric bill.

Here is an MSA pass this morning from M2-3, you can't see it on this one but we had a thunder storm sneak in, it woke me up with a good lightning storm, one hit about a 1/2 mile from me. It was nice and cool (75 F) when the storm passed through, now it's creeping up back to the 100's, I wish the weather would make up it's mind.

This is a decent well north scan for me. I normaly get lots of interference past Iceland. I am getting lots of good scans from M2-3 lately. Perhaps the demise of the NOAAs has something to do with it. UK is just left of center at the bottom.I think :). Not cropped

Looks good on this M2-4 MSA pass this afternoon, I think now that all the NOAA birds have shut down the interference is at a minimum.

Hi, First, I am new to this site and new to WxSat reception. In fact, I only managed to receive a small amount of NOAA15 before the NOAAs all dissappeared for me. Now trying to use SatDump to get MeteorSat M2-n, but as yet nothing.

I have an account on EUMETSAT 1757657919264.webp and I can log into the website with the credentials. but it seems not to work for me. 1757658029257.webp if you have any suggestions, they would be appreciated.

Thanks for now. Also the aerial in use thus far is a 'V' up a pole at about 216m ASL in clear sky with all round view greater than 10 deg elevation

Reply to anybody that is interested. I contacted EUMETSAT they helped and as I had imagined I needed a Key Pair -- I was trying to use my site logon and password. DoH!
 
The Meteor birds are set up the same way as the NOAA's in satdump - put them into the tracking, make any extra settings for each satellite, hit update tracking & away you go. You want the 72k pipeline set for both Meteors, on a frequency of 137.9MHz
