Satellite Dish Permission Question

If anyone could help me I'd be really thankful.

I'm thinking of buying a top floor flat of a 2 storey building which has a 100yr lease. The flat isn't in a cable TV area, so I want to be sure I can get Sky.

Can the landlord deny me permission to put the standard mini-dish on the roof [out of sight of the road]?

Any answers would be really appreciated. Thanks,

Alec

Yup the landlord can deny permission if he so wishes. Theres no automatic right to satellite dishes on a leased property.

Many housing associations forbid privately installed dishes to avoid damage to the fabric of the building.

Get their answer in writing :)
