Hi,

I am not sure if it is of any interest but I have uploaded a table showing the Circular/Linear polarisation types used by the satellites for their active frequency bands (C/Ku/Ka). The satellite range is from 72.1E to 63.0W. Satellites that are data only have been left in the list but I can remove these if they are not useful.

If there are any errors or updates required to the list please let me know and I will update the table. Also, if there is a need to increase or decrease the East/West scope of the list I can update the table.

Nice & useful list @MB, can you add a column for extended C-band 4.5 to 4.8 GHz for 65°West to the list for C-band Lin H/V content that is receivable in the UK and also 40.5° West Circ-L/R

Agreed, good resource, thanks. Rascom QAF 1R has L & R in 4.5-4.8.

John, s-band,

I will upload a new table to include your feedback later in the day. There will probably be a few more corrections/updates required as it is quite a long list and its easy to introduce errors.

John,

Can you please confirm that 65W contains both H and V polarity signals in extended C Band? Lyngsat only lists V polarity but obviously with extended C Band signal reports are few, Lyngsat may be out of date?

Sorry for late reply MB, yes -- in the UK just the one Hor signal showing here with three signals on Ver.

Updated table attached, the changes were only minor, listed below

1. Split 0.8W into 0.8W and 1.0W
2. Split 7.2W into 7.0W and 7.3W
3. Added new polarisation type to 44.9E

Note to an admin/mod: - Would it be possible to resize the tables to thumbnail size for all previous tables except the most recent table? It might make the topic appearance a little tidier?
