Satellite shops in NYC? Or TCR type area?

I'll be in New York this time next week (yay!) and was thinking I might pick up a spare Fortec Star remote whilst out there (and of course have a bit of a butchers at the FTA stuff out there).

Anyway, I've Googled and I can't find any bricks and mortar places, just online-only. Anyone been out there or know of any? I'm thinking Lower Manhattan has a few TCR (Tottenham Court Road) type areas but I don't know anything for definate.

Remember some of the fta kit will be useless in the uk due to different transmission characteristics on certain birds. (circular polarisation for starters)

Make sure you check for circ / linear polarity!

That's why I'm sticking to a Fortec remote control! I'll just be having a butchers at the rest (curiosity more than anything else.)

I know it'd be a waste of time buying much of the other stuff and it wouldn't be a whole lot of fun bringing it back either! I don't think a Torodial/Wavefrontier dish (for example) would be easy to put in my suitcase! And not much point buying a receiver that doesn't have SCARTs, outputs in NTSC and requires a step-down convertor

I will be looking at some electonics though, mostly video games and memory cards. I know that US Nintendo DS games work on UK units (and they're half price!)
